  • 2 tsp Powdered Milk
  • 1 tsp Sugar
  • 1 tsp Granulated Black Tea
  • 1 Waitrose Darjeeling Tea Bags

Instructions

  • Pour 1.25 cups of water into the saucepan and put over medium-high flame.
  • Add 1 tsp of sugar.
  • Add 2 heaped tsp of powdered milk.
  • Bring the milk to a boil until the milk foam rises to the edge of the saucepan walls; then, lower the flame to prevent the milk from toppling over.
  • Then, increase the heat again.
  • Repeat this step for at least 5-6 times or for 4 minutes.
  • Now, add 1 tsp of granulated black tea over medium heat.
  • Next, tear a Waitrose Darjeeling teabag open and pour the contents into the saucepan and stir with a spoon.
  • Cover with a lid and increase the heat until the tea boils and almost touches the lid. Then, turn off the heat.
  • Leave the tea covered for at least a minute.
  • Pour the tea through a strainer into your cup.
  • Enjoy one of the best cups of milk tea you will ever drink!
